We are in the wonderful season where as Christians we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  As God incarnate he came to this earth to save all.  Not just one but All.  Many will not accept this free gift and my heart breaks for them.  Without a commitment to follow Him in this life, there is an eternity without Him that awaits them when they pass from this life. 
Please, if you have not made this commitment to Him, repented from your sinful life and accept the gift He is giving you.  I had always been afraid of death but since He is in my life and there is a relationship with Him, that fear is not there for I know when it comes I will be in the presence of the one true God.

Fruit

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.  Galatians 5:22 - 23a  NIV

I can't help but notice that is does not say fruits but the singular fruit.  When the Holy Spirit lives inside of you, all of these should be prominent in your witness.  As sinners saved by grace, we can tend to not show some of it but when we repent and turn to Him for help he will give the strength to continue on with a good witness.

Abortion and what exactly is being done in our country

I have just finished a 33 minute film called "180" that was put together by Ray Comfort.  He points out that even the heartiest defender of abortion can change their minds on being pro choice turning 180 degrees to pro life.  There are many ways to address this issue but he has done a great job at putting this together.

Jeremiah 29: 11-13

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."


This says to me that the Lord already knows the plans he has for my life.  I must simply call upon Him in prayer and he say's He will listen and I will find him.  I find so much promise in this scripture.
